Working on my first non-profit campaign, spearheaded by the amazing Roy Wisnu, Chris Swift, and Aaron Paidin, I learned that you can shape world events with the power of craft. An interactive display in Grand Central Station and a targeted expandable banner asked people to sign a petition to release the political prisoners held in Burma, and allowed them to literally take down the bars.
